STUDENTS are already starting to sign up for a high-tech degree course.
Blackburn College is launching its first degree course in English language and literacy studies.
Part of the course will see a professor from Lancaster University give lessons to students in Blackburn via video conferencing equipment.
Six people have signed up and there are 15 full-time free places and a number of fee-paying part-time places.
