DENTISTS in East Lancashire declared war on proposed government cuts in their fees.
In Darwen, dentists were refusing to accept any new adult NHS patients and more districts were set to follow and force people to pay for private treatment.
They were following the example of Fylde dentists, who imposed a ban after claiming government fee cuts could be as high as 25 per cent.
