STONYHURST College's Iain Balshaw has been signed by one of England's premier rugby clubs.
The talented England Under 18 full back will join Bath's academy when he leaves school this summer.
He will be a full-time contracted player and a member of Bath's development squad.
But before checking in for Bath, he has an exciting tour of Australia to look forward to when he travels with the England Under 18 party in July.
"I'm excited about both but being signed by Bath is tremendous," said 18-year-old Balshaw, currently studying for his A levels.
"I want to play full-time rugby so this is a terrific opportunity.
"I'm delighted - and looking forward to the Australian tour very much as well."
Former Stonyhurst student Rupert Seldon also plays for Bath and has performed for the first team already, only a year after leaving college.
Another ex-Stonyhurst boy, Bracken, is a regular on the England team.
