IAM writing a history of Lincoln City Football Club, which is due to be published this autumn.
I would like to trace former players or the relatives of former players, particularly those who played in the period 1884 to 1947.
The Imps have recruited many players from the Lancashire area over the years and I would be very interested to hear from the children and grandchildren of these men.
I would be particularly interested to hear from any of the descendants of four Blackburn men - Joseph Duckworth, Jimmy Slater, William Gregson and Richard Aspden - who were the club's first professional players in the mid-1880s.
