ARMY representatives paid their last respects to a woman known as a "daughter of the regiment.''
The title was given to Kathleen Woolley, the daughter of a Lancashire Fusilier, after she was born in barracks at Bury.
Mrs Woolley, of Infirmary Street, Blackburn, died last week aged 68, just days after celebrating her golden wedding anniversary with husband David.
Members of the Fusilier Association (Lancashire) attended her funeral at Pleasington Crematorium, Blackburn.
