A SET of legendary soul sisters will make history when they unite in aid of cancer care next month.
For the first time ever, seventies greats Sister Sledge, The Supremes and The Three Degrees will appear on the same bill for Marie Curie Cancer Care, at King George's Hall, Blackburn.
The celebration is part of a world tour encompassing the sounds of the 60s, 70s and 80s and will include performances of hit singles like We Are Family, When Will I See You Again and Where Did Our Love Go.
Marie Curie spokeswoman Rachel Jones said: "These sisters of soul are icons of the past four decades.
"We absolutely guarantee a superb night with something for everyone. It's also great to be working with so many local companies in order to raise desperately needed funds for the Marie Curie Nursing service in the Blackburn area."
The show on Thursday, June 12, is a follow-up to the massively successful Commitments Tour which was also in aid of Marie Curie.
Tickets at £14 and £12 are available from the box office on 01254 582582 or from Marie Curie Cancer Care on 0161 877 7867.
