A 65-YEAR old pensioner is knocked down on the pavement by a young cyclist. Having got past the skateboard era, we now have would-be stunt riders weaving among us on roller blades and cycles.
Some kill themselves, but that more elderly or infirm pedestrians are not killed or injured is a minor miracle.
This menace should not be allowed to go on.
It's only fair to point out that the club cyclist type is a responsible and careful road user.
Prams are all that should be allowed on the pavement with predestrians.
