LANCASHIRE Lynx will be looking to replace Carlisle in second place in the Stones Bitter Division Two Championship when the teams clash at Gilford Park tomorrow, kick off 3pm.
In their last three games Lynx have beaten three other promotion challengers in the shape of Leigh, Hunslet and table toppers Rochdale. Victory over Carlisle would make Lynx one of the favourites for a promotion spot with several games against clubs near the bottom of the league to come.
A measure of how difficult Lynx are to score against shows in their last two games which have seen them concede only one try over both games. Coach Kevin Tamati has a doubt about winger Simon Smith who damaged his hip against Rochdale, he will face a fitness test on Saturday.
If he fails, Neil Parsley will take his place having himself recovered from injury. One other change sees Stewart Francis replace Lee Westwood who goes to the subs bench.
