ON behalf of The Liberal-Democrat organisation for Blackburn, Darwen and Rossendale, I would like to thank all those who voted for our party in the recent elections. We hope to translate your confidence in us into action, and make a mockery of the statement often levelled by opponents that, "a vote for us is a wasted vote."
