CINEMA lovers turned out in droves to try out Burnley's new £5.5m multiplex screen with more than 5,000 customers viewing films in just three days.
Hollywood Park has been opened as Apollo Leisure's flagship cinema on the site of the former DIY store off Manchester Road.
The complex is one of only three in the country to have a director's auditorium with a licensed bar. For £2.50 extra per ticket customers can take their drinks to their luxury seat in an exclusive 61-seater auditorium.
Andrew Smith, manager, said: "We have had a lot of customers in the director's auditorium and they have said they will definitely be coming back.
"We are very pleased with the number of people who have come through, especially as it is hot weather, which usually means we get less custom."
