MIRACLE man Melvin Banks is coming to Leigh.
The man who claims to have helped the blind to see, the crippled to walk and the deaf to hear is visiting to Kings Park Christian Centre, Leigh Road, from June 16-19.
Mr. Banks has previously travelled all over the world on his healing missions. A preacher since 17, it is said he has spoken to one million people face-to-face in his lifetime, in 25 nations.
He says that two thirds of the people are completely healed and a large number of others are helped, comforted or partially cured.
He does not use the word 'healer' or claim anything for himself but is entirely thankful to God and says: "Jesus Christ the Son of God is the Saviour and Healer of the World".
Rev. David Benson, Minister of the Kings Park Christian Centre, sponsoring his visit said: "We are greatly privileged to have Rev. Banks with us for these special services. He is in great demand for long periods and it is difficult to get hold of him for missions.
"No doubt many will be healed through his remarkable gift of healing, during his visit to our area."
Meetings are every night at 7.30pm, with a special afternoon service on Tuesday June 17 at 1pm, with a fin al meeting on June 19 at 7.30pm. To reserve free seats telephone 01942 261340.
