STUDENTS proved they know how to put on a show when they swamped the university with their colourful creations for Arts Week.
The aspiring artists from the University of Central Lancashire put on their annual display of the weird and wonderful as part of their Fine Art degree courses.
The creations covered the whole spectrum of artistic design and included furniture, jewellery, sculpture, prints, floral designs, paintings and ceramics.
The young inventors also examined media art, advertising images, engineering and industry. There was also a unique selection of fashionable clothing on display.
The mammoth presentation was the culmination of years of hard work by the students who will now pursue careers in art, design, fashion and technology.
And the show's not over yet, for if you hurry you can still catch the exhibitions today (Thursday) and tomorrow at the university's Victoria, Hanover and Vernon Buildings and the St Peter's Arts Centre. Admission is free.
