HAD speculated over the possible privileges enjoyed by members of a household which led to the comments made by Mrs Citizen Smith.
The case for compulsory inclusion of domestic science in the secondary school curriculum seems to be warranted if the male mayhem situations described are to be avoided.
The following appeared on ITV's Teletext on Sunday, May 25: "Thought: the male is a domestic animal which, if treated with firmness and kindness, can be trained to do most things - Jilly Cooper."
