MANAGEMENT and workers at Blackburn-based Kenyons bakers and caterers were battling to save their firm.
Workers who believed the electricity board was about to pull the plug on the firm because of non-payment of bills, planned a picket to stop a total shutdown.
At the last minute, Kenyons director Mr Aldo Pasquali averted an electricity cut-off after meeting with the bank.
