THE Government is asking people to get on their bikes or walk, and leave their cars at home, because of air pollution (LET, May 30).
Yet they are doing more to damage the very air we breathe by cutting down all our lovely trees, destroying our beautiful countryside and allowing more motorways to be built and more runways to be extended.
They call it progress. I call it sheer madness.
