CORONATION Street's Ken Barlow and brave teacher Lisa Potts joined Lancashire chief constable Pauline Clare for the launch of a school security video.
The 30-minute film, made in association with Lancashire Constabulary, gives advice to schools on all aspects of security and was launched on Britain's most favourite street.
The video was made following the Dunblane tragedy and the incident at a Wolverhampton nursery where Lisa worked when a madman with a machete burst into the school and attacked pupils.
Mrs Clare said: "No one wants to see our schools become fortresses but we are all aware that pupil and staff security is paramount."
