A "meet the professionals" seminar to help parents cut their way through educational red tape is back by popular demand.
The day-long event, planned for June 18, has been organised by the Bury Parents' Partnership and aims to provide mums and dads with advice on getting help for children with special education needs.
Professionals from health and education departments, schools and the social services, together with child psychologists, will be on hand at the Elizabethan Suite at Bury Town Hall to answer questions about the services available and guide them in the right direction.
Mrs Liz Sanderson, co-ordinator of Bury Parent Partnership, said those advisers who helped with last year's inaugural event were instrumental in making the seminar an annual occasion.
