KEEN walkers will get the chance to stretch their legs this weekend with an organised walk to Billinge and Crank Caverns.
The 11-mile stretch has been organised by the St Helens Council Ranger Service and is set to kick off at 10am on Sunday, June 8 from Sankey Valley Visitor Centre.
The walkers will follow a route along Carr Mill through to the Crank Caverns before continuing to the highest point in Merseyside, Billinge Beacon, where they will get the chance to take in the panoramic view before returning back to Sankey Valley.
Lunch will be taken at the Colliers Arms in Kings Moss and for more information, you can contact the St Helens Ranger Service on 739252 or 815586.
