AGE Concern St Helens are on the lookout for more volunteers to help them continue their work in the borough.
The local charity have made the appeal to coincide with National Volunteers Week which runs from June 1 to this Saturday, June 7, and are hoping for enthusiastic people with a few hours to spare every week who would like to put something back into their community.
Volunteers contribute to the running of the charity in a number of different ways including helping out in their shops, insurance offices, day centres, lunch clubs, at the Mansion House and becoming drivers.
All volunteers will get the chance to attend training courses to further their expertise. If you are interested you can obtain an application form from the Mansion House reception in Victoria Park, St Helens, or by phoning 752644.
