IT was a rather special birthday party and the children arrived clutching their beloved teddy bears and dolls.
Some parents also took along furry friends from their own childhood to celebrate the first birthday of the Dolls House which is part of Fleetwood Museum.
More than 80 children and parents dropped in on the party at the seaside boarding house for teddy bears and dolls - some of which are more than 100 years old.
There are even continental dolls and antique bears in the collection.
The house on Queens Terrace is in 1930s style with a rocking horse, fair and a hall of mirrors.
Children took along dolls and teddies were given free drinks and lollies, while a storyteller from Buxton kept them entertained with tales about the dolls.
There were also games, a collage competition for the children and a contemporary craft exhibition.
Museum curator Simon Hayhow said: "They brought lots of interesting toys, even polar bears.
"Someone brought a doll which was more than 50 years old.
"I felt it went very well, people told me they had a marvellous day.
"We might well be having another party next year."
