A PRESTIGE weaving mill museum was facing financial ruin, just five months after it was opened by Prince Charles.
The £300,000 Queen Street Mill project was to be closed to the public after making a £40,000 loss, even after a £58,000 grant from the local authority.
More than 5,500 people signed a petition calling for the re-opening of the maternity unit at Rossendale General Hospital.
