ONE of East Lancashire's most successful companies has won a national award for its growth record.
Ultraframe, the Clitheroe-based conservatory roofing firm, was ranked 32nd in a league table.
It was compiled by a national newspaper and accountants Price Waterhouse.
The rankings were based on average sales growth over five years, during which time Ultraframe boosted its sales by 31.7 per cent per year to £43 million for 1995/96.
"This is tremendous recognition of our workforce's level of commitment over many years and demonstrates the success of our culture of customer service and improvement," said managing director Ian Robinson.
The firm, which employs more than 500, will receive an award for its achievements at a ceremony at Arley Hall, Cheshire, next month.
