YOUR zeal in applauding virtually all the actions of the new government comes as no surprise to one who has read your editorials over the past 10 years.
I must, however, correct the inaccuracy in your leader concerning Camelot (LET, June 3).
The pay rises in question were not made 'at the public's expense.' They were awarded out of the agreed profit margin negotiated by Camelot when they won the contract.
If anyone has room to complain, it is the shareholders.
If, as you rightly say, the distribution of lottery money to good causes has nothing to do with Camelot, why mention it?
The real truth of the matter is that Camelot has made the grave British mistake of being successful.
