ACCORDING to a news report, remains found in a cave in Spain suggest that, 800,000 years ago, people were cannibals.
What has changed? There is little doubt, judging from the way people cruelly exploit and treat one another today - that if food was as hard to come by now as it probably was then - people would undoubtedly eat one another.
There are more ways of eating people other than killing and cooking them. What of the 'fat cats' who say: "A million a year for me, nothing for you homeless teenagers?" - cannibalism, in effect, in a-dog-eat-dog-world.
