A CRIMEWATCH appeal for help in tracking down an armed gang who stole £1 million from a Preston security depot sparked off 60 calls to police.
A 'highly organised trio' struck at the Securitas UK premises on the Roman Way Industrial Estate near Ribbleton just after 7pm on February 11.
Detective Chief Inspector John Thornley, the man leading the hunt for the masked raiders, appealed for the public's help on BBC's Crimewatch UK on Tuesday (June 10). After the programme, a police spokesperson said: "Now it's a case of following up leads, but we are still appealing for more."
A £25,000 reward is on offer by Securitas for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the men.
