Recent high level evictions from council houses prove that Blackburn with Darwen Council is carrying out its new "get tough policy."
This is good news for the majority of council tenants. Decent people who take pride in their homes, gardens and surroundings.
The problems arising from vandalism and nuisance, especially juvenile nuisance, have been tolerated for far too long.
Blackburn with Darwen Council, to its credit, recognises this and is dealing with it in no uncertain manner. Evictions are the final answer to nuisance neighbours and their problem children.
So let's have more evictions if necessary. Let us have zero tolerance of these problems and keep up the good work Blackburn with Darwen Council.
