HUNGRY thugs asked a man for food before attacking him as he walked home from a takeaway.
When he refused to give them something to eat the seven strong gang of youths punched and kicked him, knocking out a tooth.
The incident happened on Marsett Place, Ribbleton, around 11.30am on May 25.
Most of the culprits were white men aged around 18, although one or two were Asians of the same age.
A schoolboy and his friend were pounced on as they enjoyed all the fun of the fair.
They were attacked by a bottle-wielding gang while walking along Preston's Flag Market at 6.30pm on May 26.
The trio of offenders were Asian males, all aged around 17. One was wearing a yellow jacket, one had a blue tracksuit top and the other a goatee beard.
A quick-footed thief went into a sports shop and stole 18 football shirts and ran off.
The tall man struck at 6.30pm on May 28 at the store on Fishergate, Preston.
He was white, 6ft 2ins, about 30, had black hair and grey streaks and was with a little girl.
Burglars pretended to be working for the waterboard before distracting a pensioner and stealing cash from her home.
The two men struck at the house on Dean Street, Bamber Bridge, at 11.30am on May 22.
One of the men was white, 5ft 2ins, in his mid-thirties, with blond hair and a fluorescent jacket.
His accomplice was also wearing a bright coat.
Thieves chatted to a shop assistant in a busy store before stealing a purse from her handbag.
The trio got away with cash, credit cards and personal items in the theft at the shop on Liverpool Road, Penwortham just after lunchtime on May 24.
