VANDALS have caused hundreds of pounds worth of damage in two separate attacks on St Helens schools.
In an incident believed to have occurred between midday on Tuesday, June 3 and 8am the following day, a number of windows were smashed at Carr Mill Infants School, Ullswater Avenue, with damage estimated at about £180.
And in the second attack at De La Salle High School, Mill Brow, Eccleston, damage estimated at £150 was caused following a break-in in which a Kenwood blender valued at £100 was stolen.
