HORSE lover Nicola Nash has a Royal appointment (writes Louise Tansey).
And she will be gleaming with pride when she parades her thoroughbred stallion - Fair Lyn Gemini - before the Queen at Buckingham Palace in July.
Nicola is taking part in the Royal Pageant of the Horse as part of the Queen and Prince Phillip's Golden Wedding anniversary celebrations.
Nicola and Fair Lyn Gemini (pet name 'Jimmy', pictured) have been recommended for the big event by the Arab Horse Society.
They will be riding alongside 1000 other horses chosen specially for the £50-a-ticket event, which will include a massive choir and laser show.
The pair will travel from Bates Farm, Glazebury, six days before the event on July 5, to join up with the other horse owners.
Accomplished rider, Nicola said: "I will be so proud to ride Jimmy infront of everyone in London. The experience should be absolutely amazing, I can't wait!"
