ALAN WHALLEY'S WORLD

A MATURE student is tackling a real pest of a subject. And she's hoping to pick up some pointers from our readers.

Mrs A.M. Arden, a St Helens College Access student from Chester Street, Prescot, is currently involved in a research project on the highly-evocative subject of sexual harassment.

And she's turning the clock back to less-enlightened times - in particular the 1950 to 1975 period.

Mrs A., who'd welcome any details from victims of pestering or general hassle, adds: "Especially of interest would be incidents involving younger women and their superiors."

Their info, I'm assured, would be held in strict confidence and is for research purposes only.

SO if anyone feels willing to assist, they can write to me at: Whalley's World, St Helens Star, YMCA Buildings, Duke Street, St Helens WA10 2HZ and I'll pass on any replies.
