TEXTILE firms in East Lancashire are being invited to provide samples of their products for a new exhibition at Manchester's Museum of Science and Industry.
Due to open on September 15, the exhibition will celebrate the role that Manchester and the surrounding region has played, and continues to play, in the global textile industry.
Any products and information about textiles would be welcomed but the exhibition is particularly interested in knitted and non-woven fabrics, braids and ropes, fastenings, sewing accessories, technical fabrics and any futuristic designs. Interested firms should contact Harriet Purkis or Tudor Gwynn at the museum on 0161 832 2244.
