ARE BT trying to dupe the public? First, they announced they were cutting the cost of national daytime calls by 10 per cent. Then 24 hours later they said the cost of line rental was going up 93p to £26.62 per quarter.
That comes to £106.48 a year, which is far more than a TV licence.
They should change their name to Telecon. Their line rental is far too expensive and should be cut to half, never mind increasing it.
BT deserve to be hit and really hard by a windfall tax for the massive profits they make by exploiting the public.
