HOUSEHOLDERS have won speedy action from Burnley Council after complaints over traffic problems when leaving their estate.
Residents and visitors to the Moorings signed a petition calling for a "concealed entrance" warning sign at the junction with Pendle Way - and immediately won £1,300 worth of work.
A report to Thursday's planning meeting says the authority will pay £300 for a warning sign while the county will find £1,000 to place hazard warning markings on Pendle Way.
But residents' request for a traffic calming along Pendle Way is unlikely to succeed.
