I AM doing a BA history dissertation on how Burnley was affected by war from 1939 to1942. It will be very much appreciated if readers could help.
If anyone has relatives who lived through the war in Burnley and kept diaries, I would like to study them to get a better understanding of what life was like.
If any Burnley factories or schools have archives covering 1939-1942, their help will also be very much appreciated.
People's names will not be used in the dissertation if they do not wish it.
PAUL REYNOLDS, 42 Laithe Street, Healeywood, Burnley.
Converted for the new archive on 14 July 2000. Some images and formatting may have been lost in the conversion.
