STUDENTS played a leading role in making their school's annual summer fair a success despite the unseasonable weather.
The fair at Primet High School, Colne, featured a disco run by former pupil Richard Taylor, current students dressed in medieval costume selling lavender bags and other pupils manning the various stall and amusements. They included a golf target competition, a coconut shy and a "walk the tightrope" challenge.
The event raised £327 for school funds.
