BARTON Grange Garden Centre staff have the greenest fingers - and that's official!
They have just scooped the prestigious Citizen Garden Centre of the Year award - to add to their growing list of gardening gongs, including first prize for hanging baskets at the Chelsea Flower Show. Hazel Lowe from the Centre accepted the award from Citizen assistant editor Richard Farnell after readers voted Barton Grange the best in a recent poll.
Looking on are John and Liz Ashurst and baby Maddy who won a wheelbarrow load of prizes, including a barbecue, vouchers and gardening tools after their winning vote was picked from the hundreds of entries. (R/9257)
