VIMTO Association leaders Golborne pulled off an outstanding seven wicket win against Northern League side Blackpool in the Lancashire Knockout on Sunday.
In a match reduced to 30 overs, Blackpool set a stiff target after a century from Paul Simmonite had taken them to 185-6.
But Golborne made quick work of their task.
Skipper Andy Mullaney was unbeaten on 87 while Gary Woodward hit 45 off 34 balls.
Golborne now face Chorley, also from the Northern League.
The win made up for sorry soaking Saturday when the weather totally washed out every match in the Bolton Vimto Association. No second innings were possible as the rain swept down.
Golborne were left totally frustrated - marooned in the pavilion for their match at British Aerospace with not a ball bowled.
Astley & Tyldesley were one of only two sides to reach three figures.
They were helped by Bob Bennett who notched an unbeaten 53 in a total of 103-8 against Darwen.
But there was no joy on Sunday for A & T as they crashed to a nine wicket defeat against Daisy Hill.
Ian Robinson was their Top Bat, hitting 47 in a total of 121-9. That was never going to be enough with pro David Hamilton following on his 3-12 off 11 overs with an unbeaten 52.
Atherton emerged fresh from their day off to complete an eight wicket rout of Spring View.
Skipper Steve Walsh had the home side trooping back to the pavilion at regular intervals as he picked up 6-37.
Ian Moss chipped in with 3-41 as the Wigan side was skittled out for a meagre 78.
That was easy meat for Atherton, Brian Cole hitting an unbeaten 37 as they reached their target at a canter.
LEIGH could manage only a draw as they also succumbed to the weather in their match against Northrop Hall.
Northrop took advantage of some poor bowling to reach a healthy 202-3 from only 35 overs.
Leigh then got off to a flier with Steve Bailey hitting 38 from 30 balls. After only 12 overs Leigh had reached 67-2. Then the rains came.
On Saturday (2pm) Leigh 2nd entertain Huyton.
