The latest branch of Shopmobility has been officially launched by Cllr Brian Strett.
The Atherton branch, based at New Lodge Centre, is part of a scheme to help the housebound and those with limited mobility to regain their independence, through the use of powered scooters and wheelchairs.
The system is funded by the local authority, Friends of Shopmobility and donations.
