THIRTY police officers took part in a number of dawn raids on Tuesday, June 17 at targeted homes.
Eleven people were arrested and appeared before St Helens Magistrates Court later that day on charges of failing to appear at earlier dates.
A police spokesman said: "This is a genuine warning to all members of the community. If they are given a court date, it is in their best interests to attend. If they don't, we will be given an immediate warrant to arrest them."
He added it was aimed at helped the town's judiciary system.
