CUSTOMERS and staff of St Helens Council's Queens Park Leisure Centre's tone zone gym are entering a team in a national competition to become Britain's fittest club.
FHQUEST 97, to be held in Southport later this month, involves each member of the team covering specific distances on a treadmill, rower, bike and stepper. The event will form part of a leisure conference show.
Queens Park manager Terry Bates, said that as part of the competition, teams must also visit show stands and answer leisure-related questions to flex minds as well as muscles. Other events may follow later this year.
Further information can be obtained from Terry on (01744) 22339.
