THREE members of the Rainhill Women's Institute were invited to join a Lancashire cycle challenge in aid of National Bike Week.
The intrepid trio - Kath Ball, Brenda Clarke and Kath Goodall - joined another three cyclists who were representing the Lancashire Federation of WIs in an attempt to cycle around the boundaries of the county, taking in as many institutes as possible.
The event was organised to mark this year's centenary celebrations of the Women's Institute and the Rainhill members joined the journey at their base in St James Church Hall and accompanied the riders to Cronton and Halewood where they were treated to a slap-up meal by local members.
