WITH so much being heard to the detriment of modern youth, I would like to report the following, showing the plus side.
While I was walking down Revidge Road, I was stopped by two pupils from Pleckgate School.
They had just found a box of matches on the pavement and not wanting to leave them there or to take the box to school, they asked me if I could dispose of them safely.
Such responsible behaviour is a credit to the school and is to be commended.
A P RAY (Mrs), Revidge Road, Blackburn.
