THE DEPUTY leader of Lancashire County Council Frank McKenna has been made a director of Lancashire County Enterprises.
He will also act as vice-chairman of the company set up to promote economic development in the county.
Coun McKenna said: "Since its inception Lancashire Enterprises has been instrumental in creating thousands of jobs and working in partnership with new and established companies.
"With the new Government's plans to establish regional development agencies and a more positive partnership being developed with our European partners, I am sure that Lancashire Enterprises is well placed to play a full and active role in attracting inward investment, new jobs and training in the county."
