BIKE enthusiast Dave Price battled flames in a bid to protect a prized classic motorbike when his workshed caught fire.
The Clayton-le-Moors man used a garden hose to douse his 1959 Norton Dominator until the fire brigade arrived.
Although the valuable machine was singed and scorched in the fire, it was dragged to safety before it could be destroyed.
