ONE of Darwen's biggest employers has announced job losses.
Office seating manufacturer Evertaut, of Cross Street, blamed difficult trading conditions for the 10 redundancies.
Said manufacturing director Alan Hynd: "The furniture industry is very subdued at the moment and trading conditions for ourselves and others are very difficult.
"We are having to reorganise to secure the long-term future of the factory and its employees."
The firm, which employs 270, said the redundancies were from a number of departments.
