A NEW service has been set up to help young gay men in Morecambe.
A weekly drop-in session at the Information Shop for Young People on Victoria Street is aiming to help take away the pressures of homosexuality.
A spokesman said: "Gay men often find that coming out is traumatic and the situation is made even worse when there's a hostile response from family and friends. Someone to talk to is a lifeline."
There is also a worker there to help assist young lesbians during the weekly session. Ring 831978 on Wednesdays from 3pm-4.30pm for more information.
