Rotherham 10 Lancaster 17 LANCASTER ran out easy winners in a Northern League water polo match on Tuesday night against the side that knocked them out of the cup earlier in the season.
It was close to start off with, with just one goal separating them in the first quarter with the second quarter finishing 7-5.
It was in the third quarter that Lancaster's dominance began to show when they stretched out their lead to five goals.
In the final quarter they ran away with it and on the final whistle Bower had scored six goals, Detko five and youngster McClaughlin did well scoring two.
Lancaster are now top of the league and travel to Walsall at the weekend to compete in the British Deepwater Championships. With an unbeaten league run, they are expected to do well.
