CHILDREN'S playgrounds were being turned into 'killing fields' with deadly weapons on sale at corner shops and through the post, claimed trading standards officers.
Razor-sharp knuckle dusters, spiked 'throwing stars' and evil Rambo-knives were being sold to children at shops throughout East Lancashire and were readily available by mail order.
