IF you would like to be served by a medieval wench then the place to go is the Magic of Coronation Street on Blackpool's South Promenade.
From July 26 the attraction is putting on medieval nights, which promise to be "bawdy banquets with much quaffing of ale," according to organiser Sue Grindrod, head of operations.
The Street will be transformed into a banqueting hall which guests will enter and be served by wenches dressed in medieval costumes.
They will dine at banquet tables laden with whole roast chickens and marinated ribs of pork and there will be plenty of wine, ale and cider flowing.
All the feasting and drinking will include magic from jesters, dancing and revelry.
And to add to the atmosphere there will be medieval-style sword fights and jousting.
Adam Thornton, sales and marketing manager at the Magic of Coronation Street, said: "It will be a real night of frivolity."
While Sue Grindrod added: "We know both Raquel and Bet could wear some outrageous outfits behind the bar in the Rovers, but serving wenches is definitely a first."
Just eating and dancing on the famous Street will make it a night to remember.
Party booking information is now available on 299555.
