CAR loads of youngsters are making life miserable for people in the Quaker Bridge area of Reedley.
Residents told a Reedley Hallows parish council meeting they had seen youths jumping on the bonnets of parked cars, urinating on them and syphoning fuel.
They also played loud music into the early hours as they congregated around the old river bridge below the motorway.
Residents of Montford Road, a short cul-de-sac, had seen cars driven at high speed. One had smashed into a resident's car, knocking it across the road.
They often felt intimidated by the presence of the youths but the council was concerned they had ceased to ask the police for help as they felt it was a waste of time.
They were urged to ring the police and to make sure that their calls were registered.
The council will report to the police with suggested measures and raise the problem with the Brierfield and Reedley area committee of Pendle Council.
